Pricing FAQ's
MailRoute charges per unique email address (aliases and distribution lists are free of charge), for all users on a domain.
Plans are tailored to the usual needs of customers based on size. If you're a small business or have a personal domain, try Basics. Larger companies will want Enterprise for a more complete suite of business features. And those needing to meet Federal regulatory standards should choose Compliance.
MailRoute defines a "user" as a human who benefits from our service. We allow for aliases and distribution lists to be free of charge, when listed as such in your account. Pricing will vary based on your user count. We do not offer blanket pricing per domain, nor do we bill by volume.
MailRoute's fully redundant hosted architecture means that you do not need to purchase hardware or software. Our service is applied outside your server environment and is continually updated. This means no single point of failure for you, and no costly upgrades or maintenance.
Request a trial and your account will be hand-checked by a security tech to verify your ownership or control over the domain(s). Once that's complete, change your MX records to point to us and service is activated. You'll be offered assistance and usage tips during your trial by a dedicated account manager, and if you're happy at the end of the trial do nothing: you'll receive an invoice for your coming month based on your previous month's usage.
Yes, many MSP's and companies resell MailRoute to their customers and enjoy a good margin, dedicated Control Panel, and added discounts. You can also white label our service, and brand the Control Panel and Quarantine Notifications with your own logo and colors. Please use promo code "Reseller" when requesting a trial.
There will be no delay or disruption in delivery of your mail. Our onboarding process allows for your old and new MX records to exist until your old records are expired from caches (typically a day or so, though you can control your TTL setting on your server if you run it in-house).
Global customers can purchase our Basics or Enterprise plan. MailRoute has customers on every continent except Antarctica and provides 24/7 support either through our online documentation for Basics or via email and phone for Enterprise.
Our Enterprise US and Compliance plans are designed for US-based companies that require that all data be located only on US-based datacenters, and that support be provided only by US-based support. The Compliance plan offers additional CMMC inheritability, DFARS, and GCC-High integration, only employees who are US-citizens with full background checks have any access to your company information.
